This is our new model distributor, replacing the XY. It operates on the same principles,
with the added benefits of also working in a vertical plane and being both more compact
in design and having a larger filling area.
The XYZ enables the automated filling of bottles arranged in trays, when
interfaced with our dispensing machine. The delivery nozzle from the
dipspenser is carried over the array, stopping to fill at each bottle location, and can also
travel in a vertical plane and be set to dip into the bottle to prevent splashing or
foaming.
Typical applications for the Distributor are filling tasks where the product needs post filling processing or where bottles are purchased or despatched in regular arrays and can be filled without extra handling. It is suitable for products which will be autoclaved or freeze dried in the filling tray or which need to be filled in a fume cupboard or laminar flow cabinet.
The distributor can accept bottles from a minimum neck diameter of 6mm and will also
work with containers which have different widths and depths. Bottles can be arranged
in a straight grid or honeycomb pattern.
The XYZ is simple to program, by sending the filling head to the required limiting positions and then inputting the number of bottles per row and column. Each program is
saved as a named routine. 99 programs can be held in non-volatile memory.
The equipment is compact, and the travelling arm can be rotated for ease of storage.
The control box is linked to the travel mechanism by a lead, allowing the user to arrange the system to suit their own requirements. The control box is designed either to
stand on the bench or fit snugly on top of our Mk7 Dispenser (as seen here).
We supply adjustable trays for arranging bottles and are happy to quote for punched
trays to accommodate small bottles.
